Description

Unused shelf spare in foundry, had surface rust in bore from being stored unboxed in unheated building, cleaned bore with scotch bright roll only to remove rust, no metal removed. There is some “micro pitting” in the bore, you can see it but can’t feel it. I repainted the block and oiled the bore. I did fully disassemble the insert to make sure this had not been run. There are no run marks on the rollers, the cups still have the factory machine marks, same finish all the way across the cup (a run cup will have a different finish on the very inside and outside where the rollers do not run).

My goal with anything with rust is to return it to serviceable condition, NOT to make it look like new (and ruin the tolerances) like the big guys do.

Local pickup and payment is welcome.

Ohio residents pay sales tax, tax exempt certificates accepted. If you need tax exempt, email me BEFORE purchase.
