Used. Outer rubber has rub spots, and nicks in it. Nothing that gets down to the cords. Fits old S series Internationals with IDI V8’s only. Should fit 1978 – mid 1993 models. Does not fit inline 6, does not fit T444E. If your truck has a turbo from the factory, you DO NOT have an IDI.
The trucks that these engines came in were 1600, 1700, 4500, 4600 , 4700.
Fittings turn freely. This has been sitting around for years, so blow it out with air before installing. I got this at a salvage yard when I was getting parts to fix the A/C on an old tow truck. I grabbed everything that was there, because these trucks are so rare in the salvage yards. As far as I know, these hoses are obsolete. I was never able to find them for sale when I was looking. One hose has a part number tag, the other doesn’t. Otherwise they are the same line in similar conditions.
Line is approximately 40″ long, with one straight female fitting, and one angled male fitting. I don’t remember which hose this is, there is one from the condenser to the receiver dryer, and one from the receiver dryer to the evaporator. I grabbed a couple of A/C O-rings and put them on the line. They are “freebies”.
This is an R12 line, however you can run R134a in it. Once the inside of the lines are coated with the old mineral oil, it blocks up the pores in the rubber and prevents leakage.
