Description
Timken 65500 precision Class 3 cup. * rust on bottom face cleaned up, runout mark re-marked. This face does not normally seat against anything, so will not effect the precision / runout. Small amount of rust on bottom of side, cleaned up, small amount of rust at the very bottom edge of raceway, outside of where the rollers run. Fair condition factory box.
Note: if you are looking at a Timken high precision bearing in a re-labeled box, without a white front (for newer bearings), it is NOT a genuine high precision bearing. There are companies buying bearings, marking them with runout marks, and selling them as high precision. Genuine Timken high precision tapered roller bearings have straight rollers, standard precision bearings have crowned rollers to allow for misalignment. A standard bearing will have much less rigidity because of the crowned rollers.
